Medic uses third-party SMS phone-number verification technology to ensure account authenticity, reduce spam, and protect patients and workers from fraudulent bookings.

With your permission, Medic accesses device location to find nearby caregivers, confirm home appointment addresses, coordinate navigation, and improve service safety. You can adjust location access in device settings at any time.

While a caregiver is en route to your confirmed appointment, approximate transit location is displayed to facilitate arrival coordination. Location data must never be misused for harassment.

We partner with vetted infrastructure providers for cloud hosting, authentication, SMS verification, maps/routing, push notifications, and payment processing.

Medic utilizes Google Firebase for authentication, crash analytics, and database infrastructure in accordance with Google privacy and security standards.

Mapping features are powered by services such as Google Maps to enable accurate address geocoding and caregiver navigation.

All electronic payments are processed by PCI-compliant payment gateways. Medic does not store full credit or debit card numbers on its servers.

We retain information as long as necessary to maintain your account, satisfy legal/tax obligations, and resolve disputes, after which data is securely anonymized or deleted.

We employ industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS), access controls, and firewall protections to safeguard your personal data.

While baby/child care services can be scheduled on Medic, accounts must be created and managed by a legal adult or guardian.

You have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data, restrict processing, or request an export of your information by contacting privacy@medic.cloud64.us.

You may request complete account deletion at any time through our support team or in-app settings. Data not subject to mandatory statutory retention will be permanently erased.

Where data is stored or processed internationally across our cloud infrastructure, appropriate data protection safeguards are maintained.

Service Providers are strictly prohibited from selling Customer data, retaining contact info for personal solicitations, or sharing medical information improperly.

In-app messages and coordination calls between users and caregivers are recorded and processed as necessary for safety, dispute resolution, and quality control.

Reviews and ratings you submit may be visible publicly. Do not include passwords, private contact details, or medical records in reviews.

Medic is not responsible for the privacy practices of external third-party sites linked outside our platform.

In the event of a merger, corporate restructuring, or asset acquisition, user data will remain protected under this Privacy Policy.

Material revisions will be announced via the app or website with an updated Effective Date.

This Privacy Policy is governed by applicable data protection regulations in the jurisdictions where Medic operates.
